The amazing MLG Orlando is near its end, with just a few matches remaining to be played. The new champion will come from the quartet of TheSTC, MC, Idra and HuK.

After Idra defeated Boxer in a clutch extended series, he proceeded to dominate over HongUn (with a 2-0) and Bomber, who he eliminated with a 2-1 after an exemplary long macro ZvT series. Idra's MLG Orlando run now comes to a point where he has to face one of his greatest and most deadly rivals - oGsMC.

MC's opponent in the lower bracket were no slouches whatsoever as well. After eliminating Dutch pride Ret, the God Protoss scored victories over EG's Puma and MarineKingPrime, winning them both 2-1 in a very close PvT series. The winner of Idra and MC will be guaranteed a top 3 finish and will play the loser of the upper bracket final.

The latter will be a PvT face-off between EGHuK and oGsTheSTC. Both players have displayed an absolute phenomenal performance throughout the tournament with HuK crushing his protoss-heavy group convincingly and TheSTC coming out of the open tournament and into the group stage to do exactly the same.

The $5,000 first place prize money and the "MLG Orlando champion" title are still on the line. The Koreans are on a three-for-three as far as championship titles are concerned since the beginning of the GSL/MLG exchange program. Could this be the event where the foreigners strike back?
