The homefield sensation "Gatored" continued his win streak today by defeating oGs player "TOP" with three to nothing. Proving once again how good he is against Terrans.

The third and final game was closed off thanks to a four-gate against TOP's marauder-marine composition.

- "I'm surprised the Koreans aren't doing as well as they could be," said Gatored in the post-match interview. He added, "I'm also surprised that Strelok and SjoW haven't done that well."

The USA Protoss player will now move in to the semi finals going up against "FruitDealer" who qualified already yesterday when he defeated his former team-mate Killer.

DongRaeGu macro like a god - mutalisks seal the deal
"DongRaeGu", who surprisingly fell to "Gatored" in the group play, went up against another Protoss in the quarter final. His six-pool openings did not really give him that much of an edge against "TT1" as wanted, but with stellar macro and some distinct tranisitions into mutalisks in game one and two sent him off at a good start.

But the FnaticMSI player "TT1" bounced back by winning game three on Terminus RE thanks to a three-gate zealot proxy that saw the Korean Zerg player go down despite scouting it early with his six-pool style.

Evidently, the favorite "DongRaeGu" macroed himself to victory in the last game to secure a semi final spot. A maxed out zergling-hydralisk-roach army clashed with a 150 army of stalker-sentry-zealot-colossi-immortal in the middle of Shakuras Plateau which seemingly placed TT1 ina favorable position. This at least until DongRaeGu could regroup and send in more hydralisks and roaches accompanied by infestors to win the game.

Dignitas KiLLeR defeats Guangzhou runner-up after full game series
The Finnish wonderboy "elfittaja" who charmed everyone in last weekend's Intel Extreme Masters stop in China lost to the Dignitas Zerg player "KiLLeR" in a full best-of-five series.

The first game on Metalopolis showed an "Elfittaja" playing it safe and defensively taking a quick third base. The small gateway army at meager 96 against "KiLLeR's" big hydra-roach army seemed to be knocking "Elfittaja" out early though if it wasn't for some well-placed sentries that allowed the colossus to come out in time to hold it off. Then, thanks to a nice mutalisk transition "KiLLeR" could swoop in to the Finlander's base while the Protoss forces remained out on the field. A wrongly made decision from "Elfi" who decides to go for the attack instead of falling back. Greeted with too many roaches, he concedes.

"Elfittaja" could quickly come back to even out the score on Shakuras Plateau thanks to an 8-gate blink stalker push. "KiLLeR" then followed it up with a zergling rush in game three.

Both players then showcased nice moves in game four and game five. "Elfittaja's" throng of offensive phoenixes in game four allowed him to lift up a tonne of drones and hydras to contain the Chilean just enough to macro ahead and take the game.

The last laugh was from "KiLLeR" though, who went for a big roach-hydra drop, once again catchnig "Elfittaja's" army out in the middle once again forcing a base-race situation. This time "Elfi" took the bait, and while he razed the main base, the well-defended gold expansion took too long to destroy. "KiLLeR" could kill of "Elfittaja's" last pylons to send the IEM Guangzhou runner-up out of the tournament.
