FXO's zerg Lucky thrashed MLG champion and one of SlayerS' ace terrans MMA with a quick 3-0. Lucky thus advances to the Grand Final match and will await the winner of Stephano and TheSTC.
In under 20 minutes, Lucky put the score to 2-0 with some deadly ling/roach aggression, pulling off a clutch break-ins bypassing MMA's defences. The terran tried to come back in the series on Xel'Naga Fortress and actually lived long enough to muster a scary enough push but an immediate ling/baneling/muta counter attack put an end to MMA's hopes for the IPL gold.
- "I did not really expect to win", confessed the smiling Lucky in the post game interview. FXO's zerg is just one game away from the $30,000 first place prize, his last opponent to be either the only foreigner left Stephano or his opponent, the Korean terran TheSTC.
