Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to do this interview, much appreciated. How do you feel about your teams overall performance at Dreamhack Winter and how do you feel about your own performances?
“Overpow: I think I had an up-and-down going performance, especially my Midas against Team EZ, it shown that I didn’t get enough sleep.”
“Mag1x: We definitely could have done better! We had some games where we played and picked really well, for example vs Wahl and game one vs tdM. The overall play was ok, but our biggest problem was the picks (which is also the reason we lost to tdM). I still can't believe what heroes/hero constellations we/Loda picked in some of the games... we gotta improve that! Concerning my performance at DHW; I think I played a really good tournament ;)”
You guys went 3-2 in the group stage, taking second place in your group. Going into the tournament, what were your expectations for the group stage?
“Mag1x: We were pretty confident going into the group stage. We thought the only opponent we might lose to is LION, since they scrimming more than any other team. So we kind of expected being Top2 in our group.”
The NASL finals are just on day away, how confident are you guys right now? Do you feel as though you have a very good chance at taking first place?
“H4nn1: We aint too confident, obviously because we haven't achieved anything, but at the same time we know what’s the problem. Playerwise we are on the same level as the rest, but as you could have seen in the tdm game our main problem is easy go or big throw concerning picks. Overall I guess we have a decent chance but it will all come down to the picks. Hopefully it will work out this time =)”
Your first round opponent is FnaticMSI, you lost to them in the group stage 2-1. How are you going to approach them this time around? Do you have any specific strategies you want to try or will you just try to out play them?
“Overpow: Yes, Mag1x our Strategist Operator has spent his last 36hrs, to search for MSI's weakness. The outcome of this overall huge operation has been enormous. NASL should be a challenging surprise.”
The other first round match up is trademark esports versus lion, if you win your match against fnaticMSI, you will be playing one of those teams. Which team would you rather play and why?
“Mag1X: I think we would prefer LION, since they are a European team, and we know what they are doing. We aren't that familiar with tdM's playstyle, so the answer is LION. But actually we don't really care, winning vs MSI is the thing we are focusing on now.”
