ThorZaIN 1-2 NaamaThe former StarCraft: Brood War DreamHack champion Jos "ret" de Kroon has been showcasing a great set of matches at the event. Defeating Naama, ThorZaIN and meRz in the group stage, the "90 drone before hatch Zerg" ended in first place in Group D.

The Dutchman surprisingly lost to the reinvigorated DreamHack Winter 2010 winner Naama in the first game on Tal'Darim Altar. But he would turn it around to win the following three with some very nice baneling hits on the Finnish marines and marauders as well as top mutalisk control.

He continued in the same fashion against the two Swedes ThorZaIN and meRz, who both allowed him to enter his very macro-oriented heavy drone comfort zone. Ret even brought forth the ultralisks and brood lords against an out of tune ThorZaIN.

The Swede meRz was able to budge Ret in one of the games, but Ret once again proved a number too big for the Scandinavians in Group D by winning the series 2-1.

Naama claimed the second spot in the playoffs after defeating both ThorZaIN (2-1) and meRz (2-0).
