The talented Swedish protoss will not be flying to the states for the MLG national championship in order to pay his major attention to GSL and DreamHack Winter.
Sase joined Quantic Gaming on October 7th and was supposed to make an attendance at MLG's final stop in Providence (November 18-20) but his most recent statement says otherwise. Kim will be skipping the American tournament because of his very tough tournament schedule in November.
Hi everyone!
Last days I have been thinking so much about what to do with my upcoming events. When I got to know I play JYP in GSL on the 14th of November I realized I would have to play three tournaments in three different countries in three different time zones, in 10 days! I feel so sad and sorry to let you guys know this but I have chosen to turn down MLG. I feel like my stamina and my lowest skill level is not good enough to perform well at all these events. MLG is a super nice event and MLG Orlando was the event I have enjoyed the most in my Star Craft II career but GSL and Dream Hack are great events as well.
GSL has been my dream to win ever since I started Star Craft II. I haven’t done well in GSL and I would probably have a bigger chance to do well in MLG than GSL. But GSL to me is the hardest tournament in the world and that's where I wanna do my best. Dream Hack is not as hard as either MLG or GSL. But it's in Sweden!
