It has been reported by EGR Magazine that Fertitta Interactive, which is controlled by the UFC/Station Casino Fertitta brothers, Tom Breitling and Tim Poster, have purchased online gaming software provider Cyberarts. While the purchase price wasn't released, this purchase seems to be another indication that powerful U.S. land based casino operators are positioning themselves for coming regulation by acquiring gaming software in advance of regulation.

Early in 2011, Fertitta Interactive had entered into a partnership with Full Tilt Poker, only weeks before Black Friday's April 15th caused that partnership to disintegrate.

The Fertitta brothers, Frank and Lorenzo, are the majority owners of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and are significant owners of the Las Vegas Station Casinos Inc. which have been reorganizing to stave off financial troubles in the wake of softening casino business the last few years. The other principals in Fertitta Interactive, Tom Breitling and Tim Poster, also have been in the casino business having bought and sold the Golden Nugget properties, netting over $100 profit in just two years. Breitling commented ""We are firm believers in regulation and think that the time is now for online poker to be legalized, taxed and regulated."Cyberarts offers a range of advanced gaming software solutions for free-play community games to revenue generating games once poker is regulated in the United States. They use the scalable Foundation universal gaming platform.
