In a recent interview that Patrik Antonius gave he asked for sympathy as he had millions to lose if Full Tilt Poker went down. He was quickly challenged on the forums by an individual who said he only had $100 in his account. Now Antonius is clarifying his statement to indicate that his potential loss of millions won't come from his account but rather people who owe him money that won't likely be able to pay if Full Tilt folds completely without repaying players.

As the controversy was breaking, Antonius was in the midst of a deep run in the €10,400 buy-in 2011 WSOPE Main Event where he went out in 9th for €90,000.

As revealed by noted poker news man Noah Stephens-Davidowitz, Antonius continued to play well after Black Friday from Monaco, winning hundreds of thousands in profit and then apparently cashing out his entire roll on Full Tilt, leaving only $100 in the account. Whether he had any inside knowledge of Full Tilt's situation is unknown."This one person made an attack on me, saying I had only $100 in my account. He was right but he’s not right that I’m not a very big loser in this. I'm also concerned how this person got the account balance and why he’s spreading around confidential information."Antonius claims that he's owed millions by a number of individuals. He states that one particular player owes him $2.4 million. He further states that he feels his ability to get that money back rests entirely on Full Tilt Poker continuing to do business.

Antonius adds that he was unable to cash out after Black Friday.“My manager and I were trying to contact them about why I wasn’t getting cashed out and they just kept telling us there were problems. So because I was going to be in the USA for the World Series of Poker I transferred what I had to people that wanted the online money, then the entire site went down and no one could get their money off. So the people I transferred the FTP money to are refusing to pay me because it’s stuck on the site and they don’t see it as real money."There are elements of the story that still don't make full sense if he in fact only has $100 in his account presently. Antonius concluded his PokerListing interview stating...“I get paid a big part of my compensation from Full Tilt at the end of each contractual year in June and this year it was not paid out. The same goes for the compensation from the few months before.”
