A quarter of all 16 terrans faced defeat in the first day of the IGN Pro League. Tarson, Fury, Drewbie and DieStar are all out of the winners bracket.

Idra managed to pull two in a row to achieve a comeback after being down 0-1 against Drewbie. The reigning champion engaged very poorly on Metalopolis, throwing away banelings and mutas alike into the unforgiving tank fire. However, Idra picked up his game and outplayed Drewbie in the next two sets to keep his crown for the time being.

Minigun also had his 2-1 victory. The protoss really impressed Tastosis with his storm drop play in set 1 but chose a more standard colossi/gateway push as the set 3 finisher.

Moonan rolled over with Fury with two quick TvTs (as strange as it may sound), having better banshee control in both sets and making better decisions overall.

Tarson was the fourth terran dropping down to the losers bracket after losing 0-2 to Vibe. In the first set, Tarson won a big advantage by sniping Zerg's third but found Vibe nevertheless untameable, losing more and more units to the relentless muta flock. Vibe repeated this style of play in the second set to secure himself a flawless victory.
