The Grand Final of Gosu Weekly 5th episode between the Romanian FlaF and the Croatian dsaqwe proved to be the most epic one so far and will stay in memory of many for long.
Gosu Weekly Champions:
#1 Whistler
#2 dredredre
#3 SneazeL
#4 Pidgin
#5 FlaFThe tournament started as usually, on Sunday 20:00 CET. This week there was no Greth to commentate but he was replaced by BaD]Don_Jullio and BaD]sebastian, our partners from iCCup. They both managed to run the tournament which lasted about 6 hours.
There were more skilled players attending Gosu Weekly than usual this week and as a result this could not end anywhere near this week's epicness. It is actually hard to imagine a different scenario when players like lure, FlaF, OyA, dredredre, Bakuryu, Trutacz or mtp were attending. Many of them got knocked out in the early stages of the tournament which demonstrated the high level of competition present.
The Grand Final between the Romanian FlaF and the Croatian dsaqwe surprised many with a very high level and pageantry. FlaF, being on the edge with only one game separating him from the defeat, managed to win 3 games in a row and take the title home. Those five games were about two and a half hours long and all can be found at the GosuGamers replay section for download.

After the finals FlaF said that it was a real challenge to compete in the Gosu Weekly tournament. He has heard a lot about his opponent, dsaqwe but it was the first time he had a chance to play against him. I must admit that he played much better than I expected, says the winner. Being asked about his great come-back he adds: I knew that I must change something in my game, I realized that I was playing too defensive so I tried to be more aggressive with mutalisks.
The next episode of Gosu Weekly will take place either next Saturday the 9th of July or next Sunday the 10th. Organization and rules remain the same. The map pool and other details will be released just before the tournament.
