The second dose of Monday Code A came with no lesser players. Check, Choya, Ryung and Lyn all had step inside the booth and make their Ro32 stand.

Check vs Choya

An epic set on Fortress gave start to the evening batch of games in the first day of Code A July. Choya opened with a beautiful multi-pronged aggression, flying void rays and dropping sentries in Check's main while at the same time attacking zerg's third. Due to the constant force fielding at his ramp, Check could not rally enough forces and he lost his Lair, although he managed to keep his third alive.
The game should have been Choya's at that point but as he moved out with a "finisher" push, he found out that Check actually had more than enough roaches and queens to defend and as the protoss army got trampled, Check put down a spire and started pumping out mutas.
Choya's constant pushes would soon force a base-race scenario but the fOu coach made the grave mistake to pull back in the middle of the trade, thinking that all of Check's tech has been destroyed. As this was not the case, Check was able to win by constantly adding more and more mutas, killing off every single probe and keeping his economy alive at the same time.
On Crevasse Check went for a very fast third while Choya sneaked two proxy stargates and researched +1 air weapons. Sadly for him, this move got scouted and Check's mass queens had little trouble defending all the bases. Choya tried to switch to DTs but as that got scouted as well it was basically lights out. Check soon moved out with a maxed out hydra/roach/queen army and ended the game after a few minutes.

Noblesse vs Hero

Hero opened Tal'Darim Altar with an early 1-base pressure but as his stalker micro faltered, Noblesse took the offensive in his hands and used nukes, marauder drops and soft contains to prevent protoss from ever taking a fourth and thus winning the game.
Hero's path to victory on Dual Sight began with a nice phoenix opening, which, combined with unending gateway reinforcements, kept the terran in his base indefinitely, not allowing him to even take his natural. When Noblesse mined every single mineral patch he tried to move out for a final stand. Which was not at all successful due to the 50 supply lead that the protoss had.
Instead of punishing the nexus first build on Metalopolis right away, Noblesse made the wiser decision to go for a mid-game EMP/stim timing push and managed to kill all of the probes at the protoss natural. Abusing this early lead, Noblesse just sat down and outmacroed Hero so hard that when the next marauder/viking push came, the oGs player could do nothing else but surrender.

Lyn vs Tassadar

After both players traded some early game aggression on Belshir Beach, Tassadar put down two Stargates and went for mass phoenixes in addition to his colossus/zealot ball. The first big engagement came in favour of the protoss as when the ground armies killed each other, it was free reign for the phoenixes which completely shut down any production from the barracks and won the game.
The set on Terminus was way shorter as Tassadar opened with a quick dark shrine and after some economy damage was applied, a transition to 6-gate chargelots sent Lyn back to the Code A qualifiers.

Ryung vs Gumiho

On Belshir Beach Ryung opened with double proxy rax but his empty base was soon scouted and Gumiho managed to deflect the rush without suffering too heavy casualties. After he was safe against any further aggression, Gumiho went on the relentless offensive and eventually got the win when he succeeded in killing Ryung's gold third.
Gumiho opened Crossfire with a thor/preigniter rush but Ryung already had unbreakable defences up and thus Gumiho was forced to turn back. But Ryung would not let him macro for a long time and immediately countered with a large tank/marauder army. With just a couple of thors in Gumiho's base, the fOu player gg-ed out.
A bad attack by Gumiho on Crevasse put him 20 supply behind and gift-wrapped the map control for Ryung. Although Gumiho eventually caught up in supply, the inability to move out and secure a fourth on time eventually led to his fall; Ryung would advance to the Ro16.
