I definitely thought I could win, or I wouldn’t be playing. But you can’t expect to win a tournament, even if you play perfect. This definitely exceeds my expectations.Kelly has had a tremendous online tournament career with nearly $5 million in tournament earnings since 2006. He had been recruited as a Brunson10 sponsored pro until they disbanded with the departure of Doyle Brunson earlier in 2011.
Kelly is a force to be reckoned with in the live tournament world too having won his first WSOP bracelet in the $25,000 NLHE Six Handed event for $1,315,518. He is deservedly receiving much praise and should be a force for years to come.
