Surprise, surprise! Going into Day 3 of the Epic Poker League Main Event #2 Erik Seidel is 3rd in chips, slightly behind Fabrice Soulier and David Steicke who was on the good end of a cooler against Dan O'Brien late on Day 2.

The top 12 players will make the money and lock up at least $46,020 with the final table receiving at least $57,530 and the winner taking home $782,410. Play will continue on Thursday until the final table of eight is set. Of the 23 remaining only five of the players remaining in the field are going for their second EPL Main Event cash. Chino Rheem, the defending champion, and Erik Seidel, who took second in the inaugural event, along with Adam Levy, Isaac Baron, and Matt Glantz who finished in seventh, 10th, and 14th respectively.
