After several months off after a successful Season IX that saw numerous improvements to the presentation and ratings, the 10th season of the World Poker Tour kicks off in Los Angeles at the Legends of Poker event at the Bicycle Casino Thursday. A number of smaller adjustments for Season X will build off the success of last season.

Seven changes for Season X

1. There will be live streaming of all final tables with hole cards on delay. Tony Dunst will host the final table stream, while Ali Nejad will be the live announcer at the final tables.
2. The World Poker Tour hosts, Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten, and Kimberly Lansing, will interact with a live and virtual audience via Twitter and chat features.
3. The winners bracelets will be replaced by a Tiffany's card protector.
4. A new WPT Player of the Year trophy will be unveiled.
5. In addition to more European stops including Malta, Ireland and Prague, the WPT will add two new U.S. tournaments in Jacksonville, Florida and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
6. There will be two new "behind the scenes" WPT specials during this season created by Joey Carson, formerly of Bunim Murray who produced shows like The Real World and The Simple Life.
7. Mica Javier and Melissa Fisher will be joining the Royal Flush girls Melanie, Melyssa, Sunisa and Michelle.

The Royal Flush girls will be holding court at the Royal Flush Girls Social Bar, a 16 foot long bar with eight stools, four monitors and an Xbox 360 Kinect, serving not only as the home of the Royal Flush Girls from Day 1 through the final table, but as a new focal point of the set designed to engage the audience during championship play.

The World Poker Tour will continue to fine tune the presentation to gain a larger following and ratings.
