The beast from Korea MC got his first group win against Killer. However, the God Protoss found the Latin American Zerg a tougher nut than he probably expected.

MC put his dominance on display, convincingly winning the first set on Altar with crushing mass phoenix/chargelot build that left Killer trampled and powerless... but it would only seem so.

Killer's play exploded on Metalopolis, the point of detonation being MC's terrifying push being stopped by constant fungals that dropped the protoss ball down to red and got cleaned by roaches. From that moment on, Killer started gaining macro advantage and utilized his fungal/ultralisk composition to the fullest to tie the series.

In the decisive set, Killer got the chance to punish MC hard as he found a hole in the ramp wall-off and scouted the DT tech and reacted on time to spore up and counter it. Killer than moved on the counter-offensive, sending a big roach army towards the protoss natural but an immortal popped out just in time to chase it away. As the game hit its middle stage the time for big battles came and it was then where Killer's mistakes cost him the game. Two consecutive engagements went really wrong for the Chilean due to bad infestor positioning and MC, who was up against the ropes just minutes ago, walked his way towards a 2-1.
