In the late European evening, the first day of ASSEMBLY Summer 2011 comes to an end. The last two groups are done but some results would throw people in a surprise.

In Group G, DreamHack and HomeStory champion HuK dropped out of the tournament, finishing third after Mana and Jimpo. The Liquid toss always went head to head with his opponents in terms of sets but ultimately Mana and Jimpo proved to be better and will advance to the Ro16.

Group H was topped by the sole Korean Nada, but it would be very wrong to say that his run went smoothly. At one point the Korean was barely holding the second spot just behind Elfi (the Finnish toss then with a 2-0 score) and had to play NightEnd for the right to advance. Even then he couldn't win a perfect victory but at the end, the Genius Terran secured his top spot but only due to set advantage.
