After five-and-a-half levels at the European Poker Tour's Berlin main event on Day 2, the field was reduced from 353 to 119. All remaining players are now in the money, guaranteed a minimum of €7,500. Fabrice Soulier finished with 1,079,400, more than 250,000 between himself and the second biggest stack.

The eliminations were fast and furious on Day 2, including the chip leader at the start of the day Sander Berndsen. Other notables busting on Day 2 included Davidi Kitai, Tobias Reinkemeier, McLean Karr, Jeff Sarwer, Sandra Naujoks, Arnaud Mattern, Jan Heitmann, Nicolas Chouity, and Matt Affleck

The 773 player field created a prize pool of €3,865,000 with the top place taking home €825,000 at the Spielbank Berlin Casino.
