MLG Columbus is now over and it's time for some number crunching. Those have been posted on MLG's webpage, drawing a really curious picture.
22.5 million is the number of the stream views during the three-day Columbus event. But even though this count is impressive by itself, it looks even better put aside the stream for the NFL Draft 2011, which according to MLG got "only" 11.4 hits, almost twice as few as the largest pro-gaming venue in North America.
MLG report even more awesome statistics: views from 164 countries, 2.2 million hours of view time, 16,000 attendees, 1,300 players and $1 million in prize money - a number to be reached by the end of the year. eSports is getting more huge by the minute.
