The combined Day 2 of the European Poker Tour - Madrid Grand Final main event continues Monday at the Casino Gran Madrid. Over the weekend, two Day 1 flights were played with a total of 686 players making the €10,000 buy-in event.

There are 309 players who made it to the combined Day 2, with Day 1A chip leader Swede David Sonelin and Day 1B chip leader the 19-year-old Norwegian Ole-Kristian Nergard.

Still in the tournament are also players like Ivan Demidov, Marcer Luske, Sandra Naujoks, Alex Kravchenko, Noah Boeken, Alex Gomes, Jason Mercier, Liv Boeree, Surinder Sunar, Brian Hastings and many more.

Those less fortunate who busted on Day 1 included Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Vicky Coren, Dario Minieri, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier, Vanessa Rousso, Daniel Negreanu and the brothers Joe Hachem and Tony Hachem.

The 686 players created a €6,860,000 prizepool with the top 104 players making the money and most importantly €1,500,000 reserved for first.
