Let the hostbot updating begin! DotA developer Icefrog and his team have released an update to the recently published version 6.72. The b-update fixes several bugs in relation to the the latest spell reworks and rebalances several buffed heroes.

What should be specially noted are the nerfs to Murloc Nightcrawler, which should see him make fewer apperances in the ban lists from now on. The permanent absorption of attributes he gained from direct kills caused a lot of headaches, but thankfully that feature of the hero has been removed again.

Also of special note are the nerfs that have been applied to Treant Protector. The times of global tower regeneration are already a thing of the past, but still affected are buildings in a range of 900 around the hero. On top of that, slightly higher cooldowns have been applied to the earlier levels of Leech Seed, which negates it being cast so frequently in early phases.

Visual changes have also been made on Spirit Breaker's Charge of Darkness and on Shadow Fiends good old Shadowrazes, which will from now on look the same as they did before version 6.72.
