World Cyber Games has announced that they will hold their Grand Finals venue in the metropolitan city of Busan, South Korea.

The metropolitan area and second largest city in South Korea Busan will be the host for this year's World Cyber Games. After a series of trips around the world the last one being in Los Angeles, WCG finally returns to its country of origin after eight years of absence.

The 3.6 million city will welcome gamers from all over the world in the Busan Exhibition & Convention Centre (BEXCO) on 8-11th December. To explain the choice of Busan over the long-time eSports Mecca and capital city Seoul, the CEO of WCG says that they "believe WCG 2011 in Busan will be the greatest ever with the wholehearted support from Busan city".

We remind you that StarCraft: BroodWar will not be one of the disciplines in the Grand Finals for the first time in all the 11-year history of the World Cyber Games and the Blizzard RTS games will be represented by StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty and WarCraft 3, joined by WoW: Cataclysm on the MMO stage.
