Catch up on this weekend's TeamLiquid Starleague games.
The opening of the highly expected league saw two upsets. The first series saw Swede Markus "Thorzain" Eklöf defeat the GSl-accomplished Zerg player Kim Won "FruitDealer" Gi two to nothing. With some excellent decision making and very well-placed and timed scans Thorzain could outmanouver the former GOMTV GSL champion to advance to Round of 16.
Other results of the day saw Lim Yo "BoxeR" Hwan eliminate Romanian Silviu "NightEnD" Lazar by a two to one score. A disconnect in the first game which eventually gave BoxeR the first win was typical for the series. After the games, BoxeR said that he suffered highly of lag. He also says that due to the delay on "foreign servers", he decided not to use micro-intensive strategies.
Onlookers could witness another slight 'upset', as Mousesports player Stefan"MorroW" Andersson took out the only foreign Code S player of the season. Home team favorite Jonathan "Jinro" Walsh fell to some well-timed baneling busts from his fellow Swede.
