Swedish site Rakaka.se has announced a tournament called "The Road to Korea". 12 players from Sweden will battle for a trip to the mekkah of StarCraft - Korea. The trip is to be fully sponsored by computer peripherals company Logitech.
The winner will be given a spot at the GOMTV-owned "foreigner house", situated in Seoul, Korea. Full food and accommodation worth 15,000 SEK (1,681€) is also included.
The tournament prize might gain a bit more spice, as the tournament organizers mention the possibilty of a direct invitational spot in the Code A division of the GOMTV Global StarCraft 2 League. This has yet to be confirmed.
- "It depends on the system GSL will be using, but nothing is settled yet," said tournament organizer Christian "Hellspawn" Lord on the live show "Rakt på med Rakaka.se".
10 players of the Swedish elite will be invited, and additional two spots will be filled after two open qualifiers.
The invited players will be presented soon.
