From the 21st to the 23rd of April 2011, the Copenhagen Games will take place at Øksnehallen, in the Meat District of Copenhagen.
The Copenhagen Games will host 2 StarCraft 2 events, one is an open international BYOC tournament, while the second event is an official Danish National Championship. Players who do not wish to bring a computer also have the option of renting one at the event. The entrance fee for the StarCraft 2 event will be 48 EURO, while one-day guest passes will be 8 EURO and a pass for all days will be 22 EURO.
The total prize pool for the International event will be 6700 EURO, but the distribution has yet to be announced. It can be expected that the first prize payout will be over 3000 EURO. The finals will be held at 20:00 CET on Saturday April 23rd on the SC2 Stage.
Several prominent players in the scene have already registered as of March 11th. The tournament has a total of 64 spots and only a third of those seats remain open. Players such as Liquid'TLO, DuckloadRa, and mouzMorroW have already signed up.
