While Fnatic eased through with a 4-0 win over Empire, Evil Geniuses struggled to grab a 4-3 victory over eSuba in the Starcraft Gaming League playoffs this weekend.

Fnatic's KawaiiRice all-killed Team Empire in the quarter finals of the StarCraft Gaming League. Aristeo, Bly, Beastyqt and Frum had little to put up against the American Terran player.

The other leg of the brackets saw Evil Geniuses come out victorious against Czech Republic team eSuba. iNcontroL was able to seal the deal with two wins over Destroyer and DeViL in the end, making sure EG moved on to the semi final.

Fnatic will now take on All 4 One Gaming the upcoming weekend, while Evil Geniuses will battle ROOT Gaming.

The league administration has opened up the applications for the third season. The new season will feature two leagues with ten tems in each. For info on how to sign up, go to SGLeague.net.
