Brian J. Kim followed Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski around at the USA finals of the World Cyber Games in 2005. The zealous StarCraft player was together with Tom "FroZ" Whittier and Sean "Day9" Plott the favorite to win the event. In 14 minutes of edited footage, we get to follow the renowned caster on his road to the finals.

Featured in the film are Sean "Day9" Plott, Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski and Nick "Tasteless" Plott, who all three should count as the biggest key figures in the StarCraft community.

This is eSports history. We get to see Tasteless taking his first plunge into game commentary, we get to see Day9 defeat his brother Nick in the first round to move through. We also get to understand just how passionate Artosis really is for StarCraft.

- "I quit my job six weeks ago to start practicing for this, I quit every year basically whatever I'm doing to practice for WCG because I enjoy it so much, it's the highlight of my year," says Artosis.

- "If I don't will I'll go home sad and practice more, you know, and come back next year."

The event story was widely covered in Day9's "My Life of StarCraft" video.
