When The Gathering kicks off on April 20 at Vikingskipet in Hamar, Norway, top three StarCraft 2 finishers will receive roughly €5,783 Euros (45,000 NOK).

Heroes of Newerth is also one of the games to be featured at the venue, and holds a €5,000 (35,000 NOK) prize pool.

Other announced games titles for the Norwegian LAN event are Quake Live and Trackmania Nations: Forever. The website hints for further eSport tournaments, but none have been announced thus far.

There are a number of ticket types for the event. Aside from the regular participant ticket (~€127 for Norwegians, ~€58 for foreigners), there is also a progamer ticket that costs ~€103.
