Eugene Katchalov to play Isildur1 Sunday in Superstar Showdown 4
Eugene Katchalov will be the fourth opponent to take on Viktor "Isildur1" Blom in the Pokerstars Superstar Showdown. The 29 year-old will be playing under his longtime screen name "MyRabbiFoo" this Sunday February 13th at 3 pm ET on PokerStars.
Katchalov, while not as well known in the media, has already amassed more than $6 million in live winnings and has a lengthy respected history online as well. He won the $100k Super High Roller Event at the recent PokerStars, Caribbean Adventure for $1.5 million and then came in second in the $10k High Roller event-6 max at the PCA a few days later.
Isildur1 is now 2-1 so far in these challenges, having lost $41,700 in the first showdown to Isaac "philivey2694" Haxton, and having beaten Tony. G for around $44,000, and having beaten Dan “w00ki3z” Cates for nearly $52k.
The SuperStar Showdown format is once again the same; four tables of $50/$100 NLHE for 2500 hands.
