There will be four pots, containing four teams each. The pots will be drawn in a numerical order, beginning with Pot 1. In principle, the groups will be filled from A - D, with one team from each pot.

Pot 1:
The seeded teams, forming Pot 1 were selected, based on the placings 1-3 of the GosuGamers Ranking from December 2010 in the Western region, plus ROCCAT.Tr who gets a special inclusion as the host. They are:

ROCCAT.Tr will be the only team who is predetermined in Group A. The remaining field will be drawn randomly into the Groups B-D
Pot 2: ... will be comprised of the seeded teams with the the placings 4-8 of the GosuGamers Ranking from December 2010 in the Western region. They are:

EDTN <------* Na`Vi

*With the disbandment of EDTN, who would originally get replaced by Kw in an additional qualifier, the team with the highest spot in the GosuGamers Ranking among the five Qualifier winners, Na' Vi takes their seeding spot, switching positions with Kw, who are now in Pot 3.
Pot 3: ...consists of the four first place finishers from each Qualifier. They are:
