After not too long ago the admins of the BWCL asked all participating teams to confirm their activity and also opened the doors for new teams which want to participate in the new season of one of the oldest Clan Leagues on the StarCraft scene.
The format stays as two one on one's and one two on two, which makes a team only require two players for a whole clanwar, while one player is not allowed to play more than one single One on One match for his team. The date was changed from Sunday, 19CET to Sunday 17CET, last season and stays like this.
There are twentyfour teams participating in this season which made the organizers decide to bring in a third division, oppossed to the two divisions of last season, containing Division 1, Division 2a and Division 2b, whereas going up from division two will be harder again, since less ranks can get up with two divisions there.

Also new is the lineup managing. Both teams are suppossed to post their lineup before 17CET on the website and the lineup will then be revealed for both teams and they can start the clanwar immediately.
If not able to follow this there is still the chance to make the draws on StarCraft and post the draw, together with the final scores, on the BWCL forums.
There have been no rule changes and the mappool can be seen above.
The clanwars are played on iCCup with the antihack on, as usual, meeting up in the channels BWCL 1, for Division 1, and BWCL 2a / BWCL 2b for the according divisions of 2a and 2b.
