The news from today's Blizzard blog post are that some changes to the ladder map pool are made in order to improve the competitive balance.

The maps Kulas Ravine and Desert Oasis will be eliminated from the 1v1 ladder pool and will be replaced by Shakuras Plateau (which was introduced mid-beta) and Jungle Basin.

This is no doubt a refreshing change in the pool but will it tilt the race and balance scales dramatically? Discuss below!
