The German Protoss Giacomo "Socke" Thüs experiences another upset, losing to Christoph "Rine" Müller by a score of 1-2 in the fifth playday of the German ESL Pro Series.

As of yet, Socke has won three Go4SC2 Cups, placing second a couple of times, and reaching third place at the MLG event in Raleigh. However, he loses ground after just another play day in the EPS. Now, ranked 10th with three losses and only two wins, he has to fear his participation in the EPS Finals in case they will take place.
The battle between the two German WarCraft 3 veterans Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider and Daniel "miou" Holthuis went in favor to the aforementioned by 2-1.
Benjamin "DeMusliM" Baker shone out in the match against Carlo "ClouD" Giannacco. Although the names promised some close matches, the score favored DeMusliM, winning 2-0.
