Chinese Universities
The university undergrads are coming into the competition as underdogs. Virtually nothing is known about them and this could work to their advantage. With no track record to speak of, they retain the element of surprise and will keep other top-tier on their toes.
Dream
China's Dream team is on roll so far, making it all the way to Road of the King Grand Final before finally losing to eventual winners EHome. They are serious title contenders but a dream final in WDC for them is an uphill battle.
Nonetheless, 357 of Dream (not to be confused with his EHome namesake) will make all necessary arrangements for his team to gear up and get ready for their biggest tournament yet.
Deity
A recent remake of Deity was made, so it's hard to predict how they will do. Lots of star-carries in the team though, like ChuaN and LongDD. The Deity before this reform had a tough run while LongDD's CH on the other hand had quite a more successful period. The hopes are high for this new roster and they are seen by most people as the favourite of this group.
DK
As with the European teams, there was an opening in the SEA-section aswell, making room for DK. The common belief is probably that DK will have a hard time making it through the groupstages. They have talented players, but have proved to instable results in the past.
