After more than 11 hours of straight on gaming we arrive at the end of MLG Dallas Day 2.

Those of you who caught the games last night are probably familiar with the kick-assery that was oozing from every single match, but for the rest, we are here to bring you the winners bracket results along with a short report of the overall situation.

As shocking as the results are, it was even more astounding to look at the losers bracket. In only a couple of rounds we had players like Sen, Fenix, SeleCT and Nazgul all one loss away from elimination. That was to be expected to some extent because as Day[9] was constantly pointing out, MLG Dallas is a huge congregation of talents from all over the world. It is American-only tournament no more.

The greatest surprise was brought by two Zergs that we do not see that often on the scene, namely ret and Machine. The latter made a huge impression by defeating his team mate InControl, then the MLG DC vice champion SeleCT in a exemplary series and in the quarter finals his swarm fellow Slush. Machine advances to the WB Semi-Finals where he will face Fnatic's TTOne who also did manage to take out some names of grandeur such as TLO and SEN. ret, however, was stopped at the Quarter Finals by Jinro after making an incredible series with his previous opponents.

One of the bigger upsets of the night was Idra's fall to the LB after 1-2 loss to Liquid's leader Nazgul who demonstrated an immaculate Blink Stalker micro, putting the DC champion on the edge of elimination. Later, Idra did in fact get eliminated after losing 1-2 to SeleCT in the Losers bracket.

Taiwanese Zerg Sen also got eliminated from the tournament after losing to TTOne in the Winners Bracket and later to Socke in the LB after a series which, according to casters words, lasted more than hour and a half with the first game being almost 60-minute long. IEM champion Fenix will also be going home to Peru as he re-met with Inka only to lose to him 3-4 in an extended series.

PainUser is also among the MLG favourites now as he easily took out two of the most prominent Liquid Protosses Nazgul and Tyler (a.k.a. Nony). His game against Nony was the last one to be broadcasted and ended the day with some beautiful strats and glorious battles.

Today we have more WB action as we will approach the two WB semi finals and the even more exciting LB quarter finals:
