Former French team Tribal.fr switches to Virus Gaming. GosuGamers took the opportunity to interview its team captain Margeta to know more about the French Dota scene. In June, ex-Tribal.fr was number one team in France.

Hi, can you give our readers a brief introduction?
-"Hi, I'm Margeta captain of Virus, or ex Tribal.fr, and I'm a 23 years old French student!"
In France, your team was considered number one, is that correct?
-"Actually we were number one but we just lost versus NFO this weekend, so we might be on the same level as them." *smile*
Concerning Virus, your new sponsor team, how do you feel about them?
-"I am really happy that they found us. They look pretty serious unlike many of the french multigamings, and truly interested in what we're doing. The management is active and working hard so we can focus on the game, and that's really important to us. I hope we'll work well all together!"
Sounds good, and how about the Dota scene in France? Is it pretty active? How about sponsorship?
-"DotA is pretty active in France. The online activity is focused around the Argh website where you can find two ladders and a league that are sponsored by steelseries. Besides, there are three or four major DotA LANs each year, even if I have to say they lack teams each time. It looks like the French players just don't like going to LANs. Also, it's quite hard to find sponsorships as it seems that the big names in France (like Millenium, aAa, LDLC and so on) aren't interested in DotA yet. But I feel like DotA 2 will change this!"
Does your team have any plans for future Dota events?
-"Besides the French LANs, we want to attend as many european LANs as possible. Sadly, Dreamhack doesn't host DotA anymore (at least for the incoming Winter DH), but we definitely will attend some other ones." *smile*
Now, before we end, can you briefly explain the different roles in your team?
-"Yeah, 'Ph0eNiiX' plays the main support heroes as he has a very good map awareness, 'Neosia' usually plays the ganker heroes, 'combal' the main carry while 'v0ja' and I play the solo lanes!"
