After a fortnight of intense competition, The WarCraft 3 Invitational Ladder was closed a few hours ago, unveiling the final list of the competitors that will battle in the Regional Finals.
As is the custom, the six leading players from each ladder had the privilege to catch up with the two finest players from last year's event, hence forming a total of eight contestants for each regional qualifier.
With such a list, showing a bouquet of world-class players, the event looks promising. In the Asian Regionals, all the WemadeFOX clan members seem to have seized a spot. The other side of the coin consists in the absence of Chinese attendees, which may dampen the enthusiasm of the fans. On the other hand, many Euro stars such as Manuel 'Grubby' Schenkhuizen, Dmitriy 'Happy' Kostin and Pedro 'LucifroN' Moreno Durán will spice up the European Regionals. Last, hefty challengers like Nikolaus 'SonKiE' Cassidy and Phil 'LongWalk' Crawford will hopefully cast the show in the American continent.
More details regarding the date and the modalities of the Regional Qualifiers will be released at a later date.
