Having gone down to FnaticMSI in Farm4Fame: Second Blood, team nfinity still have a bright future ahead of them, especially in the form of 15 year old youngster Roman 'rmN'.
Heldarion from Xeo Frenezy recently sat down with the rising star, seeking his opinion on matters such as the current DotA version as well as the Eryc-joLiE drama.
Below is an extract from the interview:
Hey there rmN, could you introduce yourself?
- First of all my name is Roman and I'm 15 years old. Currently I live in Germany. I started to play dota with version 6.26 as far I can remember. I didn't play in any known teams before, maybe GaB, but even this team wasn't really successful. Currently I play at nfinity, known before as onetrick.pony. I play DotA Pride and DotaInvite with friends and yeah, that's it.
How did nfinity come to be?
- Firstly, Sonny, a mate of mine, started to annoy me that I should leave my current team (GGu) and create a team. After like months I left my team and we created the team 'onetrick.pony' (best name ever!). We had enormous fun playing together so we felt like adding some more players to get a more successful team and we decided to add Fire who left 4K for us.
Why do you think Manta Style should be nerfed? Doesn't Pipe bother most players at the moment?
- Well, in my opinion Manta Style's cost is way too low. I bet you also saw games with PotM or Morphling, who just use their Manta Style and right-click barracks. It also makes you kinda invulnerable. Well, I really don't care about Pipe, because in my opinion this item makes DotA more boring, because heroes like Zeus, Leshrac, etc… get owned by it.
Ex-Ravens team (now MYM) placed second in offline tournaments three times in a row – DreamHack summer, DTS cup, GamesCon. What do you think is the reason for that and do you think that with addition of Kuroky this will change?
- Well, since MYM is my favorite team now I hope they get better placed with the new addition. Can't tell you the reason why they got second placed, but now they are stronger than they ever were.
