Dragon Quest XI will come to both 3DS and PS4

Dragon Quest XI will come to both PlayStation 4 and 3DS, Square Enix announced during a Japanese press conference.

The 3DS version is quite interesting - it has 3D graphics on the top screen, and then a retro-style sprite based take on events on the lower screen.

During battles, the fight scenes are confined to the top screen while your party's stats show up on the touchscreen.
