• Asphalt turns 20 in style
  • New tracks inspired by previous games, alongside retro car decals
  • The original Asphalt Urban GT also returns

Asphalt is turning 20, and instead of coasting, it's going full throttle. From a brand new race that brings the past to the present to retro rewards and remastered music, this anniversary celebration is packed with everything long-time fans could hope for, and it's already live across all platforms through August 21st.

The highlight of this celebration is a new track that shifts through three eras of Asphalt history. You’ll drift through San Diego, Cairo, and Los Angeles, each styled after Asphalt 8, 9, and 7, respectively. It's not just a cosmetic nod as each section is designed to feel like its original counterpart, bringing back signature visuals and atmosphere from some of the franchise’s biggest hits.

Customisation also gets a retro twist. Five spotlight vehicles, including the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, Pagani Huayra R, and Bugatti Centodieci, can be outfitted with throwback decals inspired by previous Asphalt entries. It’s quite a slick way to fuse the old-school look with modern horsepower.

Gameloft is also pumping up the soundtrack with remixes from Asphalt 8: Airborne, rare tracks from the Switch version of Asphalt 9, and a full remastered anniversary compilation featuring 14 classics. The soundtrack is now available on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music, so you can hear it any time you want.

Here’s a list of redeemable Asphalt Legends Unite codes to get yourself some freebies, too! But none of that even makes for the biggest blast from the past. Asphalt Urban GT is making a comeback. That’s right, the original Java game that started it all is now playable through emulation on the official Asphalt Legends website. Completing all its throwback stages will net you in-game rewards like credits, tokens, and exclusive cars.
