The wait is finally over as Warner Bros. Games has just announced the launch of their highly anticipated title, Mortal Kombat Onslaught. The new Android and iOS exclusive is a real-time collection RPG with team-based gameplay set in the iconic and wildly popular Mortal Kombat universe.

Mortal Kombat Onslaught is being developed by none other than NetherRealm Studios, who’ve already made other hit games in the franchise. Onslaught kicks off a new era of mobile gaming as it follows a thrilling story based on Shinnok’s bid for destruction. The Elder God wishes to regain his power, which is only possible by collecting relics from all the different realms.

Players will have to join forces with Raiden who is in dire need of help. Together, they must build a powerful team of warriors who can save all the worlds by putting an end to Shinnok’s plans. Fights get more and more challenging as players progress through the campaign. It’s necessary to keep evolving kombat and special skills, levelling up gear and using relics to keep up.
