There is no bigger flex than owning a Gold Camo of any weapon in Modern Warfare 2. But unlocking the Gold Camo for these weapons can be a daunting task for many players. The MCPR-300 – one of the best sniper rifles in the game but its gold skin is particularly hard to unlock. Through this guide, we’ll show you the fastest way to unlock the Gold MCPR-300 in Modern Warfare 2.

Tips to Unlock the Gold MCPR-300 in Modern Warfare 2

Earning a Gold Camo for any weapon just goes to show the level of time you have invested in the game and also how good you are! But there are fourcamochallenges that you need to complete before accessing the GoldCamo challenge for the MCPR-300. They are:

  • Clay: Get 50 Kills with MCPR-300
  • Snow Grass: Get 2 Kills within 10 Seconds at least 10 times
  • Neon Shards: Get 30 Kills with MCPR-300 while Prone
  • Bloodied: Get 10 Hip-fire Kills with MCPR-300

The ‘Clay’ and ‘Snow Grass’ challenges can be completed quite easily while playing the ‘Invasion’ mode in Modern Warfare 2. However, completing the latter two can be more difficult. Use ‘dolphin dives’ to complete the NeonShards challenge. Play the ‘Domination’ or Hardpoint’ modes to do this faster. Finally, in the ‘Bloodied’ challenge, you’ll have to kill your enemies without using any scope. Consider playing in ‘Hardpoint’ as you’ll be able to wait around corners and ambush enemies. Using flash grenades are also super useful as they can stunyour enemies and give you an easy kill.

After you complete this set of challenges, you’ll have access to the final Gold Camo challenge. The goal of this ultimate challenge is to get 3 kills consecutively without dying for 10 times. This one can be fairly simple if you follow the tips from the previouschallenges. You should be able to unlock the Gold Camo for the MCPR-300 in no time!
