One of the most beginner-friendly escape rooms is back with Season 2, featuring even better puzzles than before! Terminal [Escape Room] SEASON 2 CHAPTER 1 PART I is designed to be accessible, but you may still need some guidance on the puzzle order and how to search for clues. To help you out, here’s a beginner-friendly guide that you can rely on.

Four Gears

First Gear

You will find a small table near the wall. On top of it, there’s a poster that says, “Count the gears.” So, we begin counting the gears. The shapes underneath don’t matter, but the colours do.

The order of the gear colours is blue, yellow, and green. Now, in the middle of the room, there’s an open area on the floor filled with multiple gears.

Count the number of blue, yellow, and green gears: you will find 4 blue, 10 yellow, and 5 green.

Next, go to the table where you’ll see a keypad lock. Enter the new code, 4105, to open the small table and retrieve the first gear.

Click on it to collect it, and it will be automatically placed on the wall in its rightful position.

Second Gear

Now, let’s move on to the second puzzle. At the corner of the room, you will discover a pendulum-shaped cabinet. On top of it, there’s a keypad lock featuring four symbols.

Next to this lock, on the wall, you’ll see a moving gear adorned with various symbols, each assigned a specific value.

Pay close attention to the values that appear when the symbols match those above the lock. If you observe correctly, you’ll find the code is 2145.

Enter this code into the lock, and the cabinet will open, revealing your next gear.

Third Gear

Now, let’s move to the left side of the room. Here, you’ll discover another keypad lock along with a lever labelled CODE. Your task is to determine the value of each letter.

As you examine the area near the doorway, you’ll find levers labelled ACPO. If you pull the levers for C and O, you’ll notice each has a number beneath it: 6 and 9.

Next, look to the other side, where more levers are labelled DZEN.

If you pull the D and E levers, you’ll get the numbers 1 and 4. So, when you enter the code 6914 into the keypad lock next to the first lever, you’ll receive the third gear from the cabinet beside it.

Fourth Gear

The last gear puzzle is located beside the big clock on the right wall. On top of the small table, you will find two pipelines labelled ##.

Follow each pipeline to see where it leads; you’ll discover that they both end on the left side of the clock, each with a corresponding number.

The first pipeline ends with the number 05, while the second one concludes with 81. Next to the small table, there’s a keypad lock.

Enter the code 0581, and you will retrieve the last gear from the drawer of the small table.

Unlock Next Room

Now, right across from the gear wall where all four gears intersect, you will discover a door. Beside it, a poster clearly states, “After all gears have been placed, rotate to reveal the code.”

The correct order of colours is purple, pink, orange, and green. As you examine the gears on the right side of the wall, notice a gear positioned between two arrows.

Click on it to begin rotating the gears. Focus on aligning the lines until they form a number. Eventually, you will uncover the code: 5683.

Next, enter this code on the keypad lock opposite the gear wall to unlock the door.

Restoring Power

Inside, you will find a poster that says “Restoring Power.” It shows that ared heart equals 4kg, a yellow star equals 6kg, a green circle equals 7kg, and a blue trapezoid equals 2kg.

Make sure to note these values. Next, head to the original room.

On the right side wall, next to the door, you will see these shapes along with a weighing plate hanging from them. As you click, the weight will increase. Keep clicking until the weight reaches the noted level.

This action will have an effect on the opposite wall. The weight pulling down will change the number displayed between the long objects.

In the end, this number should be 8967. Finally, return to the room and enter the code below the poster.

The Oil Machine

Now, on the other side of the room, you will find the next puzzle. In front of you are six oil tanks.

Your task is to adjust the quantity of oil by clicking the buttons on the panel for each tanker. The level of oil is indicated by the map on the floor, which shows how much oil each tank should contain.

Click the button, check the floor map, and replicate the required oil levels.

Once you do this correctly, the shutters on the panel will open. Now, notice the four different colored lights above each oil tank. These lights glow in various patterns.

Recognise the pattern and match it with the posters on the left side. Identify which pattern corresponds to each light.

If you make the right matches, you will uncover the code: 5NE SE1 AC2 E6C 14R 3EP. Next, go to the newly opened panel and allocate the code you found to each pattern of lights.

This action will open the clock gate in the original room, revealing the next area to explore.

Rotate the Gears

Inside this room, you’ll discover a poster instructing you to rotate the gear below until you find a letter marked with stars.

Begin by locating the letters with one star on each gear; doing this will yield the letters T, H, R, E, and E. Next, keep rotating the gear to find letters with two stars, which will reveal S, E, V, E, and N.

Continue this process, working your way up to four stars to uncover the code: 3761. Finally, on the right side of the pipes, you’ll find the keypad. Enter the code here to open the secret wall beside the lock.

To Restabilise The Time Rift

You will receive a city name along with a specific time and be tasked with setting the clocks in various time zones.

For instance, Beijing is at 10:15, Moscow at 11:15, London at 4:40, Madrid at 7:10, Dubai at 9:10, Cairo at 9:20, New York at 2:50, and Sydney at 3:35.

Next, return to the original room and locate the wall filled with clocks, each accompanied by its respective city name. Beside every clock, you will notice an arrow that allows you to adjust the time.

Change each clock to match the times indicated in the poster. As you do this, observe that one hand on each clock points to symbols while the other indicates numbers.

Now, look back at the poster, which states that the code consists of a series of symbols. In essence, the clocks reveal what each symbol represents in numerical form, ultimately providing you with a long code: 9562304.

Finally, head back to the room and find another keypad lock next to the large panel wall. Enter the code, and you’ll complete this chapter! Congratulations!
