Season 2 of Terminal [Escape Room] is finally here on Roblox, and Chapter 1 Part 1 is absolutely packed with puzzles. I personally spent about two hours cracking all of them, so this guide exists to save you that pain.

This walkthrough covers every single puzzle in order — gears, binary codes, cipher walls, clock dials, and more. If you get stuck anywhere, just scroll to that section.

Step 1: Find All Four Gears

The first objective in this chapter is collecting four gears scattered across the map. Each gear is locked behind a different puzzle. Here’s how to solve each one.

Gear 1 — Count the Carpet Holes (Code: 4658)

Find the Y-shaped symbol on the wall, then match it to the nearby poster. The poster tells you to count the number of holes in each carpet.

Here’s the count:

  • Carpet 1 → 4 holes
  • Carpet 2 → 6 holes
  • Carpet 3 → 5 holes
  • Carpet 4 → 8 holes

Enter 4658 into the keypad. First gear collected.

Gear 2 — Change Your Perspective (Code: 9643)

Spot the matching symbol on the wall, then read the poster nearby. It tells you to change your perspective and look from the bottom.

Crouch or reposition your camera to look up at the object from below. The numbers become readable when viewed from that angle:

9 – 6 – 4 – 3

Enter 9643 to unlock the second gear.

Gear 3 — Binary Pipe Decoder (Code: 1496)

This one trips a lot of people up. There’s a binary poster with two reference symbols, and four pipes in the room — each one has a 4-digit binary pattern. A blank spot means 0, and a yellow indicator means 1.

Read each pipe:

  • Pipe 1: 0001 → 1
  • Pipe 2: 0100 → 4
  • Pipe 3: 1001 → 9
  • Pipe 4: 0110 → 6

Find the keypad with the matching symbol and enter 1496. Third gear done.

Gear 4 — Spokes and Teeth (Code: 85679)

The poster for this one explains it clearly: spokes give you the order, teeth give you the digit.

Here’s the full breakdown:

  • 1 spoke → 8 teeth → digit 8 (first)
  • 2 spokes → 5 teeth → digit 5 (second)
  • 3 spokes → 6 teeth → digit 6 (third)
  • 4 spokes → 7 teeth → digit 7 (fourth)
  • 5 spokes (center) → 9 teeth → digit 9 (fifth)

Enter 85679 to grab the fourth and final gear.

Step 2: Set the Gear Values

Once you have all four gears, you’ll need to assign them the correct values:

  • 🟢 Green = 9
  • 🔵 Blue = 8
  • 🔴 Red = 3
  • ⭐ Star = 6

Input these correctly and the next sequence of symbols will unlock.

Step 3: The Cipher Wall Puzzle

This is the trickiest puzzle in the chapter — pay close attention.

How it works:

Press the button to bring up the cipher poster. The poster shows a reference symbol with a corresponding set of alphabet mappings.

You need to:

  1. Rotate the cipher wall until the displayed symbol on the star aligns with the symbol shown on the poster
  2. Once aligned, read the symbols around the wall and translate them into letters using the poster’s key
  3. Don’t rotate after aligning — just read and translate

There are four parts to this puzzle. Each part gives you one piece of the final phrase.

The four symbols you’ll align to are:

  • Zero with a dot (multiplication symbol at top)
  • Horizontal Y (division symbol at top)
  • Diamond
  • Plus

The full decoded phrase is:

First Six → Then Five → Nine → End Three

(Note: “End” appears where “And” might be expected — that’s just how the cipher translates it in-game.)

Enter this sequence and the cipher wall room is complete.

Step 4: The Letter Lever / Alphabet Switch Puzzle (Code: 2065)

In the previous room you will see levers, each labelled with a letter. Based on the poster, switch down all the levers with the alphabets of the underlined words.

For example, the first underlined word is “SHUT ONE RAIL” so letters/levers to switch off are S, H, U, T, O, N, E, R, A, I, L.

Once all correct levers are flipped, look at the illuminated lights on the roof. The lights form visible digits. Do the same with the other 3 underlined word to get the code:

  • 2 – 0 – 6 – 5

Enter 2065 into the keypad and move on.

Step 5: The Height/Bar Puzzle

After powering up the machine, you’ll see a set of bars labeled A through F with height values to set.

Based on the bars on the carpet on the floor, the correct values are:

  • A = 30
  • B = 15
  • C = 25
  • D = 30
  • E = (already set)
  • F = (already set — lowest at 5, F is second lowest at 10)

Once all bars are at the right height, the lights activate and move to the chemical name puzzle.

Chemical code solution (enter in order):

  1. 3EP
  2. E6C
  3. 5NY
  4. SE1
  5. AC2
  6. A14R

Get these right and the door to the next room opens.

Step 6: The Cipher Wheel Puzzle (Code: 1392 — Entered Backwards)

This room has five cipher wheels. You’ll align each wheel to the correct letter, then decode a sequence by rotating the wheel left or right based on a number guide.

Quick rule:

  • Numbers 0–4 → rotate left
  • Numbers 5–9 → rotate right

Start with the letter T on the first wheel, then rotate based on the number given next to each step, noting the letter you land on each time.

The first wheel starts with T and decodes a sequence. The second wheel starts with E (with a dot — not just any E). The remaining three wheels follow the same method.

After decoding all five wheels, you’ll get a phrase. The fifth wheel explicitly tells you to enter the code backwards.

Final code entered into the keypad: 1392

Step 7: The World Clock Puzzle — Final Code (Code: 5092)

You’re almost out. This last puzzle uses world clocks.

Set each dial to the times shown below:

Once every clock is set correctly, the dials on the wall form visible digits based on how the clock hands are positioned.

The digit pattern spells out: 5 – 0 – 9 – 2

Enter 5092 into the final keypad.
