Legend of Survivors Beginner’s Guide And Tips

1 Battle And Chapters 

The Battle is the main area which you are bound to play to unlock the major playable content of the game. There are battle chapters. Completing each chapter will level your account up and also provide you with some Chapter Rewards. You use 10 energy per battle and you may use gems to renew them or watch ads. 

There are two gameplay modes – Normal and Hard. You will find different chapters for both of the modes. Completing one chapter normally will not complete the same in the hard. 

2 Types Of Skills 

Skills will be unlocked only during the battles when you defeat the bosses. The choice of skills will also be during matches. There are two types of skills – Active and Passive. 

The active skills are the ones that help in attacking enemies like meteor showers, fireballs, bombs, storms, tornadoes, etc. This will activate for a specific time and then go for a cool down. 

The passive skills you select will be in effect for the entire match. Passive skills are increasing HP, reducing damage, increasing attack speed, increasing coin gain, increasing EXP gain, etc. 

There will be a skill selection offered after you complete one stage. So choose wisely and become stronger by increasing the stars associated with the skills to make the skill effect stronger. 

Tip: At the initial stages, avoid getting hit by enemies and focus on improving your HP card skills. 

3 The Territory 

This is the right-corner bottom section of the game that remains locked till you complete Chapter 3. The Territory is a hub for varied game modes. It can be regarded just like dungeons in other games as it contains modes like – 

• Devils Tower – Unlocks in Chapter 3. 
• Merchant Ship – Unlocks at Chapter 10. 
• Arena – Unlocks at Chapter 18. 
• Bounty Board – Unlocks at Chapter 25. 
• Space Vortex – Unlocks at Chapter 35. 
• Guild – Unlocks after Chapter 30. 
• Exploration – Unlocks after Chapter 5. 

4 Keep On Harvesting Rewards 

Rewards are the resources you obtain in the game. There are several ways to get rewarded and initially, you will have plenty of them as a beginner. So you should focus on the below-mentioned areas for a daily dose of great rewards – 

• Collect from mailbox 
• Free pass reward – Collect free Monthly pass rewards. 
• Daily login rewards and Daily reward 
• Hero patrol rewards – Rewards you for the times you have been in the game and idle rewards. 
• Rookie gift – Beginner’s rewards. 
• Free Growth pack rewards – Rewards as you level up.
• Quests – Play the weeklies, dailies, and campaigns. 
• Codes – Get gift codes from officials to redeem free rewards. 

Tip: Keep tapping the “Red Exclamation” icons to find the rewards that are unlocked for you. 

5 Which Items To Upgrade? 

You can gain a maximum amount of rewards in the very initial days of the game. You may find some great equipment to upgrade too. But you should definitely watch out for the type of equipment you have. The worst equipment is Crude and Common. You can start with rare item upgrades or even elite ones but your aim must be for the high-tier ones i.e. – Legendary and Mythic. 

The items you choose to upgrade are crucial as higher rarity ones provide better power to your character. To upgrade you will need Equipment Design and Gold. 

6 Visit The Shop Daily 

The shop is the best place to give you an immense amount of Gems, Gold, and Chests. You can get them for free or watch ads to get some. For chests, you can use gems too. You shall find three different types of chests there – 

• Epic Chest – Draws out common, elite, and rare items.
• Rare Chest – Draws out Crude and Common items.
• Emerald Chest – Draws out Common, Rare and Elite items. 50 opens guarantees an S Elite item.

7 Resources And Their Uses 

We will talk about the main resources here. Except that you get materials to swap skills, upgrade equipment, get HP increase, ATK boost, etc. Below are the major resources and their uses: – 

• Gold – The talent section unlocks and upgrades weapons.  
• Gems – Used to get chests and buy energy. 
• Sapphire – Used in the Main Talent unlock section. Sapphie can be obtained by playing the Devils Tower. 

8 The Blacksmith Section 

Under the Equipment section, you shall find a specific option called “Blacksmith”. This helps to merge extra equipment to get better rarity. Let’s say you have some extra rare equipment in your inventory. Now you can select blacksmith and tap on that rare item to merge 3 of them to get an elite one.

9 Miscellaneous Battle Tips To Know

• Avoid the enemies circling you. Let the enemies follow you and keep moving straight in the direction where there are no enemies or fewer enemies. 
• Keep collecting the green, blue, and golden dots on the ground during matches, and pass the stages of the chapter quickly. 
• Stay away from arrows, green splurges, and Spider freeze webs, and discover other types of enemy attacks while you play. 
• Keep moving continuously to find buff boxes to get HP, bomb, magnet, etc. 
• Keep dodging while the big bosses attack you.
