Game Properties

Paste this into the launch options:
DXVK_FRAME_RATE=60 taskset -c 0-7 %command%

The first command limits the framerate to 60fps.
The second limits the core count to below 8 (this is necessary for the game to run with high core count CPUs).

Set the compatibility option to Proton Experimental

Staying Up to Date

Bookmark ProtonDB.com and search to know if your game will work with proton.
Good for old games that are broken on Windows and/or don’t even launch.
I could never get this to work right on Windows 10 but it was pretty simple on Linux.
