If you get dizzy with motion blur or you just hate it and want to disable it, this is a way to do it without turning off all postprocessing effects.

Find Engine.ini file

  1. Close the game if you have it open.
  2. Navigate to this path: (In windows you can put it in the search option, it will open the folder) %localappdata%\HellbladeGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
  3. In this folder locale the file called Engine.ini, press right click and “open with” Notepad.

Edit your custom configuration

In this notepad you can add a lot of custom configurations that the game does not have in its menu.
  1. The file must be blank, you first need to type [SystemSettings]
  2. Below you can add your own configuration. For turning off motion blur add: [SystemSettings]

    r.MotionBlurQuality=0

Lock the file (can skip)

If you want to ensure the game is never going to clean up this file you can do this:
  1. Close the Notepad.
  2. Press right click again over Engine.ini, but this time select the option “Properties”.
  3. In the window activate the option “Read-only”
