Warzone Season 4 went live on June 4, 2026, and the weapon balance changes hit harder than most players expected. Five weapons got direct buffs, two popular picks took real nerfs, and every Black Ops 7 AR and SMG now benefits from an upgraded Base Suppressor. If you are still running your Season 3 setup, you are likely leaving wins on the table.

This breakdown covers all 10 of the best loadouts working right now, backed by the official Season 4 patch notes. The tier list order below reflects real pick rate data and confirmed patch changes, not theory. Whether you play big map or Resurgence, aggressive or passive, there is a setup here that fits.
The two biggest losers this patch are the MK.78 LMG (bullet velocity dropped from 930 to 890 m/s, damage cut across all ranges) and the Kogot-7 (max damage and range both reduced, ADS slowed from 160ms to 170ms). If you were running either of those, keep reading.
Universal Perks and Equipment Across All Loadouts
Every loadout below runs the same perk trio and equipment. Set these once and do not change them.
Perks:
Drill Instructor for health regen and movement speed near teammates
Sprinter for faster tac sprint; sprinting also triggers health regen
Adaptive so allies near you gain faster movement and mantling
Tactical: Stimshot (Stims). The manual speed boost and instant heal are too good to replace in any mode.
Lethal: Combat Axe for Resurgence. Semtex or Frag Grenade for standard BR. Both are strong right now.
#1: AK-27 + Carbon 57 (The Best All-Around Combo Right Now)
The AK-27 got a horizontal recoil reduction and its Flip Mag capacity went from 35 to 40 rounds this patch. It was already a top-tier AR. Now it is easier to use at every range. Pair it with the Carbon 57, which reaches a 22m effective damage range using the Prestige Mag. That is exceptional for an SMG and makes this duo functional from close range all the way out to mid distance.
AK-27 Build:
Slot Attachment Optic Hoverpoint ELO Muzzle Monolithic Suppressor Barrel Control Barrel Underbarrel Vast Convergence Foregrip Magazine Extin Mag 1 or 2Velocity sits at 1,185 m/s. If you play Resurgence only and want faster ADS, swap the Monolithic for the Base Suppressor. The Base Suppressor now carries a 10% Damage Range bonus with no downsides after the Season 4 patch.
Carbon 57 Build:
Slot Attachment Muzzle Base Suppressor Barrel Long Barrel Underbarrel Sapper Guard Hand Stop Magazine Prestige Mag (50 rounds, extended range) Rear Grip Puck 5722m first damage range, 36m second damage range. This is the best SMG sniper support option in the game and it holds its own as a standalone close-range weapon.
#2: Voyak KT-3 + VST (The Laser Beam Combo)
The Voyak KT-3 is the most consistent long-range AR in the meta right now. Low recoil, predictable pattern, and it pairs well with the VST, which holds the fastest in-class TTK among all SMGs. The VST fires at 1,091 RPM, so you want the 50-round Extended Mag 2 to keep spraying without running dry mid-fight.
Voyak KT-3 Build:

The DS20 Mirage received an 8% vertical recoil reduction this patch. It was already one of the cleanest ARs to use and now it is even more forgiving. The CBRS-3 is Season 4’s brand-new SMG, available through Battle Pass Page 6. It is genuinely competitive, though it has one quirk you need to know about: the cylindrical magazine causes a brief rechamber pause at the halfway point of your ammo. The Prestige Mag speeds that up. Once you adjust your timing, this thing is a strong close-range gun.
DS20 Mirage Build (Long Range):
Slot Attachment Optic Hoverpoint ELO Muzzle Monolithic Suppressor Barrel Control Barrel (1,159 m/s velocity) Underbarrel Vast Convergence Foregrip Magazine Extended Mag 1 or 2CBRS-3 Build:
Slot Attachment Muzzle Base Suppressor (17m effective damage range) Barrel Long Barrel Underbarrel Sapper Guard Hand Stop Magazine Prestige Mag (50 rounds, faster rechamber) Stock Strafe Stock#4: Maverick + Dravec 45 (Easy to Use, Hard to Punish)
The Maverick is a burst-fire rifle with almost no recoil. You do not need the Hoverpoint ELO here because the pattern is so clean. Its Long Barrel doubles as an extended magazine, bringing you to 45 rounds and a 68m effective damage range. The Dravec 45 got a meaningful buff: ROF went from 638 to 652 RPM and the headshot multiplier increased from 1.12x to 1.15x. It already felt good before Season 4. Now it feels great.
Maverick Build:

Every season has one slot reserved for a brand-new weapon, even when that weapon is not actually meta. The KRS-7.62 is Season 4’s new marksman rifle, unlocked at Battle Pass Page 3. It is semi-auto with high damage per shot, but its Extended Mag 2 only holds 14 rounds, and the first-shot recoil is noticeable. It is not a top-10 weapon on raw stats. If you want to grind it for camos or see how it develops, the build below is the most stable version available right now. The Stormwolf is its partner here as a reliable, low-fuss SMG with clean iron sights.
KRS-7.62 Build:

Level it in casual modes and wait to see if a buff arrives.
6: Strider 300 + MADX (Best Sniper Loadout in the Game)
The Strider 300 just got an 8% projectile speed buff, and it was already the top sniper in Warzone. With the Damage Barrel equipped, it has infinite one-shot headshot range, which means damage range on the Monolithic does not matter here. Only velocity does, and Overpressured Ammo pushes that to 1,331 m/s. The MADX is the sniper support here: low recoil, aggressive, and with the Mid-Range Barrel it covers out to 77m for the second damage range. That is more reach than you will ever need while running with a sniper in your other slot.
Strider 300 Build:
Slot Attachment Optic Default Scope Muzzle Monolithic Suppressor Barrel Damage Barrel (infinite one-shot headshot) Magazine Fast Mag 1 Rear Grip / Ammo Quick Draw Rear Grip + Overpressured Ammo (1,331 m/s)MADX Build:
Slot Attachment Optic Lethal Tools ELO Muzzle Base Suppressor Barrel Mid-Range Barrel (77m second damage range) Magazine Flip Mag (45 rounds, faster reload) Rear Grip Recoil Springs7: Hawker HX + Peacekeeper MK1 (Sniper Setup Two)
The Hawker HX also has infinite one-shot headshot capability with the Damage Barrel. Its velocity tops out at 1,291 m/s with Overpressured Ammo, slightly below the Strider but still very consistent. The Peacekeeper MK1’s Flip Mag got buffed to 40 rounds this patch and now reloads 8% faster. It is a low-recoil rifle that sits in between sniper support and AR territory, covering 41m first damage range and 68m second damage range with the Mid-Range Barrel.
Hawker HX Build:
Slot Attachment Optic Default Scope Muzzle Monolithic Suppressor Barrel Damage Barrel Magazine Fast Mag 2 Rear Grip / Ammo Quick Draw Rear Grip + Overpressured Ammo (1,291 m/s)Peacekeeper MK1 Build:
Slot Attachment Optic Lethal Tools ELO Barrel Mid-Range Barrel (41m / 68m damage ranges) Underbarrel Max Horizontal Control Magazine Extended Mag 1 or 2 Stock Prestige Stock8: VS Recon + DS20 Mirage Sniper Support (Highest Velocity Sniper)
The VS Recon naturally one-shots to the head without a Damage Barrel, so that slot opens up for the Velocity Barrel. Stack Overpressured Ammo on top and you hit 1,332 m/s, the highest confirmed velocity among the three meta snipers. The Prestige Hand Stop also helps here: it tightens recoil and nearly eliminates sway when you are holding your breath. The DS20 Mirage in sniper support mode brings a 92m second damage range with 855 m/s velocity. It is not a fast bullet, but at Resurgence engagement distances it does not need to be.
VS Recon Build:
Slot Attachment Muzzle Monolithic Suppressor Barrel Velocity Barrel Underbarrel Prestige Hand Stop Rear Grip Quick Draw Rear Grip Ammo Overpressured Ammo (1,332 m/s)DS20 Mirage Sniper Support Build:
Slot Attachment Optic Lethal Tools ELO Muzzle Base Suppressor Barrel Mid-Range Barrel (40m / 92m damage ranges, 855 m/s) Magazine Extended Mag 1 Rear Grip Recoil Springs or Overpressured Ammo9: Strider 300 + Carbon 57 (The Aggressive Sniper Pairing)
Same Strider 300 build as Loadout 6. The difference here is swapping the MADX for the Carbon 57 as sniper support. If you want something that can also win a close-range fight outright, not just clean up stragglers at 30m, the Carbon 57 is the answer. That 22m fastest-TTK range and 36m second damage range means you are set from zero to mid at all times while keeping the Strider for everything past that.
Strider 300: Same as Loadout 6.
Carbon 57: Same as Loadout 1.
10: MXR-17 + MPC-25 (The Underrated Closers)
The MXR-17 got its medium damage range extended from 55m to 60m this patch. With a 1,194 m/s bullet velocity, a 43m first damage range, and 65m second damage range, it performs well on every map size. The MPC-25 received two quiet buffs: headshot multiplier went from 1.2x to 1.3x and ADS speed improved from 170ms to 165ms. It still needs recoil management, but load it up correctly and it becomes one of the more reliable SMGs in the game.
MXR-17 Build:
Slot Attachment Muzzle Monolithic Suppressor Barrel Control Barrel (1,194 m/s, 43m / 65m damage ranges) Underbarrel Vast Convergence Foregrip Magazine Extended Mag 2 Rear Grip Recoil SpringsMPC-25 Build:
Slot Attachment Muzzle Compensator Underbarrel Drift Lock Foregrip (max horizontal control) Rear Grip Recoil Springs Rear Grip 2 Stability Rear Grip Magazine Extin Mag 1 or 2What Got Nerfed and Why You Should Stop Running It
Two weapons took hard hits in the Season 4 patch:
MK.78 (LMG): Damage reduced across all ranges, bullet velocity dropped from 930 m/s to 890 m/s. It was one of the more popular support options before the patch. Right now it is not competitive with the AR options listed above.
Kogot-7: Max damage reduced, effective range shortened, ADS slowed from 160ms to 170ms. A 10ms ADS penalty sounds small but it is noticeable in close-range fights. Drop this until a potential buff arrives.
