Ultimate TOTS, End of an Era Cards, and More: EA FC News and Updates

With the Champions League final set to take place later today, EA prompted everyone to get on the grind. The Ultimate TOTS (Team of the Season) weekend cups will reward players with a guaranteed TOTS pack. From this week until the end of next week, players can expect TOTS players to increase in value. This might be a good time to bid on some cheap TOTS players, as they will increase in demand due to the related SBCs dropping later this week. Keep reading to learn more about everything set to happen this week, including an End of an Era promo.
Ultimate TOTS Team
The Ultimate TOTS team dropped yesterday, featuring some big names and impressive stats. The pack weight seems better than expected, possibly due to the many saved-up packs people opened. Although a few names are missing, the overall list is impressive. Big-name players like Erling Haaland, Mbappé, Jude Bellingham, and many others have received significant boosts to their stats. Additionally, Messi and Ronaldo have received TOTS Plus cards, now part of the TOTS collection as part of the Mixed League collection.
Players ranging from 97 rated (Jude Bellingham) to 93 (Riyad Mahrez) are included in the pack. Expect many SBCs related to Ultimate TOTS to drop throughout this week. These players won’t be cheap, and players might need to make coins via trading as well. Playing a significant number of matches also results in a good amount of coins. Collect as many as possible and invest in smart trades to be ready for this week’s player madness.
End of An Era Players Cards
Besides the Ultimate TOTS hype, Thiago Silva and Felipe Anderson received End of an Era cards. Thiago Silva’s card is always strong phisically in the game, and this version is no different. With high-high work rates, 97 reactions, 97 composure, and excellent defensive stats, he’s a great addition. However, pairing him with a taller defender is advisable to win aerial duels.
Felipe Anderson, with high-high work rates and versatile stats, is another solid pick. His card fits well in various team setups, especially with Brazilian and Serie A links. These SBCs are reasonably priced, making them great options for improving the overall squad rating.
Evolution Cards, Upgrade Packs, and Challenges
EA added a Silver Evolution, causing the prices of certain cards to reach an all-time high. While Silver players don’t create the most overpowered players, it’s still fun to see cards like Haroldson, Dris, Cole Palmer, and FIFA legend Jeremy Menez making a return. However, be cautious about which evolutions you choose. For instance, Cole Palmer’s evolution to a 95-rated card isn’t possible anymore due to the removal of the “Cut Inside” evolution.
This week, EA also introduced the 82+ Major Leagues Double Upgrade SBC. The biggest confusion is whether to do the 82+ Double Upgrade or the 82+ Player Pick. Both have rewarding good TOTS players, so try a mix of both depending on your club’s fodder. EA also added the Live TOTS Upgrade SBC, which was a bit tough to complete due to the scarcity of live TOTS cards on the market. If you can’t find a live TOTS card, try to get one from guaranteed TOTS packs available in objectives.
