Throne and Liberty players don’t have server downtime this week, but there’s no shortage of updates to cover. With the hide-and-seek event returning, new shop rotations, trial reworks, and a deeper look at tier three gear translations, September is shaping up to be a big month. Here’s everything worth noting ahead of the September 18 patch.

Throne and Liberty Hide-and-Seek Event

The limited-time hide-and-seek event appeared on September 10 and returns again on September 13. It runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. server local time (4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. UTC, or Central Europe time for EU servers).

During the event, players can find a small orange vendor named Oremong who sells glittering coins in exchange for currency. These coins can then be spent on cosmetics, food, and a key reward — a new fishing rod. Because the rod requires more coins than a single run provides, saving coins across multiple events is essential. Developers confirmed more hide-and-seek events will take place, so keeping an eye on server announcements and global chat is the best way to track the vendor’s location.

Ongoing Events and Trial Rework

The Morph Festival continues for another week, with activities like spaghetti crafting and merchants selling conversion stones, unlock stones, ores, shards, and chaos prisms. Thursdays are the best time to participate, since queues move more quickly.

Throne and Liberty KR new patch date will be a day earlier.

Meanwhile, the trial season is coming to an end, with titles delivered via mail for rankings. This will be the last traditional season, as trials will be reworked alongside tier three. The new UI introduces a system where players pick bonuses and negatives, then compete for scores and rewards. A new polished crystal, likely tied to crafting tier three growth stones, will be introduced, but old polished crystals won’t be compatible. Trials will also feature four-star dungeons, though accessories are still hidden in previews.

Shop Rotation and Tier 3 Gear

The shop update brings back the Death Shadow outfit, Lucid weapons, and morphs like the Vulcan Hound. However, no ornate coins have been added yet. Many players are holding resources to see what’s worth spending on after tier three launches.

Better translations of tier three gear tool tips are now available. Examples include:

  • Great Sword: triggers effects on plank stun or shock.

  • Crossbow: activates when enemies die.

  • Wand: converts the next heal into damage with Touch of Despair.

  • Daggers: damage boost tied to Vampiric Contract.

Tier three gear sets will stick with four-piece bonuses, leaving one slot for legendary armor. Two-piece bonuses now grant double effects, giving builds more flexibility.

September Roadmap and Orb Skills

The September 18, 2025 update (a day earlier in Korea) will deliver major content additions:

  • New orb class

  • Battlegrounds rework with role queues

  • Abyss stones and siege improvements

  • Housing system

  • Two co-op dungeons

  • Tier three gear and material transmutation

  • Hyper boost achievements and growth missions

  • Awakened tier one bosses with codex updates

  • Three new guardians, new mastery skills, and higher rune levels

Looking further, quarter four introduces an artifact rework, Tower of Greed, rune presets, armor skill cores, guild changes, and seasonal events like Halloween and Christmas. For 2026, the roadmap includes a territory expansion and a brand-new raid.

Orb skill translations show a strong focus on damage, with abilities such as Star Calling, Void Slash, and Supernova Collapse, while skills like Guardian Barrier and Constellation of Restoration fill healing and support roles. Space-time Leap provides utility options, and crossbow-orb gameplay has already shown promise in test runs.

With just one week left on current content, it’s smart to keep stocking up on contract coins, extract stones, enchanted ink, and chaos prisms. Legendary gear still holds value, but the best pieces will only become clear once tier three arrives.
