Do you think Nitro is just too strong in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) Set 14: Cybercity? Or maybe you just want to play Boombots in peace but can’t due to underwhelming damage. TFT Patch 14.2 is here to solve these issues and balance the game before Patch 13 brings major reworks. If you want to stay on top of your TFT matches, you might want to check out the patch notes.
TFT Patch 14.2 Hacks and System Changes
The opening patch of the new set hit players pretty hard with a fast-levelling meta. However, reroll enthusiasts are now hearing good news with the major change coming to Hacks. This new Set 14 mechanic has been providing too many resources according to Riot. Thus, TFT Patch 14.2 reduces the gold inflation with the following adjustments:
- Gold Hack Bribes – nerfed from 3/4/6 to 2/3/5
- Prismatic Hack Bribes – nerfed from 4/6/8 to 2/3/5
- Hack Orbs with “Lots of Orbs” Value – nerfed from 10/16/25 to 6/12/18
Previously, players could exploit Health Pickups to gain carousel pick priority by deliberately avoiding them to stay at lower health. Now, orbs with Health Pickups will automatically move to players if left on the board for two rounds. It won’t be too easy to hit prismatic traits anymore as well with the removal of Trait Category Hacks on the Wandering Trait Encounter.
